How do you make Andhra gunpowder?
- Dry roast the dhals with asafoetida till they turn light brown in color.
- Remove from the heat and place on a plate to cool completely.
- When all of the components have reached room temperature, combine them in a mixer
jar and grind to a coarse powder.
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons coarse salt, ground to a powder.
